Incident #4 of #2

Last night Solomon, for the fourth frickin' time, took off his poopy diaper & smeared it into the carpet, his door & his bed. He had already had 2 baths yesterday so he then needed a third. Jason, who is anti-spanking, smacked his bare little bottom twice over it. Solomon got really upset over the spanking, so maybe, hopefully, that was the last time.

Kinda different but kinda the same:
When I was 9 I told my mom to shut up. Not mean shut up, like kidding shut up (I heard kids at school say it.) My dad didn't like it so he spanked me. It didn't hurt whatsoever but it hurt my feelings sooo bad! I learned my lesson.
:)
Hope it worked. Poop in carpet, on walls... anywhere but toilet is bad.

anti-spanking? I can't see how that helps. I mean I don't plan on spanking my kids everytime they do something bad, but I expect to have to do it a few times.

The only reason Jason is anti-spanking is b/c it's not effective w/ Solomon. He doesn't really respond to it & all it has taught him so far is how to retaliate (meaning, he hits back). Of course, if he hits us back he gets reprimanded further, but I hate the rage & fury I feel as I'm spanking. If I could control my anger in the midst of spanking, maybe it would work better for me, but I can't. He still gets spanked sometimes but I don't like my motive behind it (physically hurt my child b/c I'm pissed -- basically having my own tantrum of sorts). I don't have a problem w/ spanking, I just want to do it in a more godly manner, that's all.
